Bought 2 of these for $(...) each (no rebate) on line from compusa: one for me and one for my sister-inlaw. I got it up working in less than 15min. It worked great with my 802.11b/g linksys router, 802.11b linksys access point and 802.11b ibm router. No problem at all while using it to browse external websites, until I try to connect to work via VPN, it hung. The company internal webpages loaded half way, telnet hung. I tried it with 2 routers and access point, same problem. I switched back to my old 802.11b wireless card and it's working fine. My sister-inlaw had the same problem , she could not connect to her work place via VPN. Now I am wondering why I got the cards so cheap while other places are selling around $(...) each. Is it possible that there are multiple versions of this card out there ?. and compusa is dumping this loudsy card (ViewSonic WUSB100, model VS10260, Serial number starts with P8L044xxxxxx) ? I am spending alot of time working from home, the card is useless for me if I can't use it to connect to work.
