I finally gave up on trying to get my Linksys PCI card to work with my ShuttlePC. There is some bizzare conflict somewhere...As the other reviewers had indicated, this unit works great. Install the driver and then plug in the gadget. The Dlink icon in the system tray gives you status info on the gadget. Clicking on the icon takes you directly to the standard WinXP networking interface, not a proprietary interface that seems to often conflict with what XP is telling you (ie with Linksys products).
The unit also comes with a USB extension adapter/cable in case it is inconvenient to plug the unit directly into your computer's USB port. It is also useful as a means to extend the range of the unit by keeping it away from the metal chassis of your computer.
