I bought this wireless G card because my Gateway lap-top has a lousy internal antennae and cannot hold a faint wireless signal. I literally installed the driver in 5 minutes or less and had the wirelss G card in the slot detecting available wireless networks. It converted the faint signal that my laptop's antennae would not & could not hold into an 89% signal. THIS particluar card is way, way better that the regular linksys card. DO NOT GET THE REGULAR CARD, VERY MEDIOCRE. This one with the MIMO technology rocks.
