As I travel a lot, I have bought this product with the intention to use wifi network on hotel that offers cable-only internet or even to amplify the wifi signals on most hotels. So far this product has accomplished both tasks very well.
I have given only four stars because the configurations is not always as easy as stated, you can take up to five minutes for the first configuration, but after that it works as soon as you plug it in the outlet given the same hotel room.
