StarTech.com 8-Feet RJ11 RJ45 Retractable Patch Cable (RJ45RET8) Review

I took this thing out of the package and pulled out the cable to admire the 8 feet of length. After that, I could not recoil the cable...ever!
If you are looking for a travel internet connection cable for your laptop, this is NOT your product.
To Note:
-The cheap coiling system broke on first use.
-Native cable ends are not compatible with LAN / ethernet computer connection ports.
-Only one adapter end was provided which allows the cable to plug into a Cat 5 ethernet type connection. What about the other end of the cable?
-No recoil or stop button.
- Cable ends just hang out of the case. They do not recess.
Fortunatly, I bought two different retractable patch cables anticipating a quality issue with at least one of them. I am delighted with the Retractable Ethernet Cord CAT5E 8ft SKU REC-RJ45-BL from [...] . The CableOrganizer product could be a little more compact with respect to the case, but 8 feet of cable does take up quite a bit of room.
