I was able to get pure 300 mbps from this router. It has a USB port where you can plug in your 3G or 4G USB modem then share your wireless internet with other computers in your network. If you have DSL, Cable or FIOS you can use your 3G, 4G or WiMAX internet service as a backup. I have tested with my 3G USB modem. As soon as I disconnected my FIOS internet router automatically switched internet service to 3G within seconds. You can also uplink to another wireless router via WiFi if you don't want to run cable so it works as a repeater. Basically you can extend your wireless without running any cable.
