"LG 290C USB 2.0 Data Cable for your Phone! This professional grade custom cable outperforms the original!"I bought this because it leads you to believe that there is software available that will enable you to communicate with your phone. There is no software that I could locate so spending $14 for this usb cable is a waste of your money. I have sent an email to the seller inquiring as to the location of said software but without response. Note the sellers statement:
"Cable also allows access to features such as Phonebook, Internet, Music, Ringtones, MP3, Calendar, etc as long as your phone and software support that feature"
NEW:
Seller emailed me advising that this was "advertised as a charger" and offered two ideas for possible software. THERE IS NO SOFTWARE THAT WILL MAKE THIS WORK! Should you wish to access the phone the only way is via bluetooth and a free download. Total cost is $5 for the bluetooth dongle and the software is free and it works! The usb does not, never did and never will. The seller is aware of this.
