There is a noticeable difference between this cord and my roomates E5 cable. The construction of this cord is great, i dont see it getting twisted up and getting that gross feel like some of the early cables use to.the only complaint i have is that the plastic piece protecting the release tab went up over the body of my MacBook pro (latest model) and made it awkward to close the screen. but it was an easy fix with an utility knife.
good buy. worth the few extra bucks over a out of date model
