The cable fit my LG Vu CU920 perfectly and Windows Vista automatically installed the drivers without a CD. The phone then showed as a hard drive in Windows Vista. You can NOT use the cable to sync data with Microsoft Outlook. I also installed BitPim (for LG Vu, set Phone Type to "LG-VX8700") and was able to access the phones file system and to disable an annoying security nag every time a 3rd party java application is run on the phone. The cable comes with a CD, but it seems to only be for the "choclate".

LG OEM Original USB DATA CABLE (SGDY0010901) connector for LG SCOOP AX260. Data wire that SYNC cell phone to/from PC computer. Synchronize Transfer Music, Email, Ring tone, Video, Picture Review

The item I ordered was never sent. I notified the seller who tried to correct the problem by sending me another, but again the wrong item. The part numbers of the items sent were NOT the part number of the item I purchased.
Now, the seller will not answer my e-mails. I guess he figures sending me items I did not order is his way of resolving the problem, then just ignoring me. He should at least carry the items he advertises to sell.

The computer recognizes my phone when I plug it in, but the drivers on the provided CD are pretty much worthless.
