This was my second try at a long range wifi antenna. My previous purchase was a "802.11g USB WiFi Wireless Lan Adapter w/5dBi Antenna", which failed miserably. So far, in the last few weeks, this has been pretty good at detecting signals. Installation was a breeze on the Windows XP laptop.
