Wireless Extenders zBoost Dual Band Outdoor Signal Antenna for YX029 Review
I don't often review products, but feel I must set the record straight on this one. It looks to me like the people bashing this product are confusing the role of the booster with that of the antenna.It works at my location where I am blocked by a ridge from having line-of-sight to the cell tower about 30 miles away. I'm using it with the Zboost YX510 which has a diagnostic mode to indicate input/output antenna isolation. I found that even though these antennas are directional, my first locations for the booster were getting interference. After shielding the area of the wall behind the outdoor antennas all is well. No interference indicated on the Zboost and it is boosting both bands as I expected.
I only drop a star because it is not clear from the pictures or directions how to aim the yagi. I had best results by aiming the aluminum beam at the tower. The panel antenna is a bit more obvious.
