8PORT Sg 200-08P SLM2008PT-NA Gigabit Poe Smart Switch Review
This switch is a perfect little product for a lightly expanding home network with a few POE devices. Setup is extremely easy, and the switch is VERY configurable (better than some other Cisco products). Others have complained about the power brick, but really it's not that big, and given it has to generate much higher DC than most other products (b/c that's how POE works folks), it's completely understandable. I don't have a negative on the product at this point, all I can say is - do your math, there is a current limit (in total), if you have 2 class 3 devices, that may be all you can drive with this switch, if you have up to 4 class 2 or less, they'll all work; if you do a little prep work and this product fits your needs, it's extremely nice and highly functional.
